What’s interesting though is that Google has leaked the Indian pricing for the new Nexus devices. The Nexus 6P starts at a retail price of Rs 39,999 (for 32GB) and the Nexus 5X at Rs 31,900 (for 16GB). We still don’t have the official word on when the Nexus will be up for pre-order in India but our sources are indicating that the pre-orders would start as soon as second week of October – just in time for Diwali (and iPhone 6s launch)....

The Nokia 5 and Nokia 8’s retail prices have dropped by Rs 1,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively. The price drop is effective starting today via major brick and mortar stores across the country. Incidentally, only the 3GB version of the Nokia 5 seems to have received the price cut. It is now available at just Rs 12,499 which is same as that of the 2GB variant of the smartphone. While no official words regarding the price of the Nokia 5 (2GB) is available as of yet; it is believed to receive a similar treatment sooner than later....

That being said, the Realme 1 will come with a single lens camera unit at the back. The design seems to be the forte of the device, the Diamond Black color scheme does look appealing. Oppo claims to have tested the Realme 1 for what it calls “Real Quality” and this test includes 10,000 drop tests, 100,000 button test, 10,000 USB tests and other. As far as after sales are concerned, the RealMe 1 will be backed by more than 500 authorized service centers alongside a guaranteed one hour resolution time....

At a media event today, Sony announced the launch of the Xperia Z3+ in India. The Xperia Z3+ is likely the Sony flagship phone we will have this year. And rightfully so, as it does sport an impressive set of hardware specs. Flaunting a 5.2-inch FHD Triluminos with Live Colour LED display, the Xperia Z3+ is powered by Snapdragon 810 processor, coupled with Adreno 430GPU and 3GB of RAM. The Realme 5 follows in that tradition. Some feel that the device was targeted squarely at the Mi A3 which Xiaomi has launched today. And with good reason. The two devices were launched within a day of each other. And there is no getting away from some of the similarities – the slightly edgy design, the 720p display, the multiple cameras, the big battery and of course, that processor.
