In addition to that, the phone comes with a whopping 8GB of RAM, 32GB internal memory, and Android Oreo with possibly a custom skin on top. The screen resolution is mentioned as “2160 x 1080 px” which confirms that the phone will have a tall nearly edge-to-edge display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It managed to attain a score of 270680 points on AnTuTu, which is roughly on par with other similarly specced phones.

On its official website, Black Shark also details its unreleased smartphone and boasts about it being the first one to feature an aircraft-grade cooling mechanism. Moreover, there’s a mention of DSP-integrated graphics for better power efficiency. There’s also a possibility that the phone will have a 120 GHz display just like the Razer Phone. A teaser even hints at a thick build with a two-tone shade. Xiaomi, however, is yet to confirm that any such product is in the works. But considering the teasers and this Antutu listing, it seems like the phone isn’t all that far away and might soon launch under the “Black Shark” brand in the coming months. Of course, like most Xiaomi-backed products, we expect this one to be limited to China as well. It sure looks like ‘gaming phones’ are the next frontier for smartphone OEMs. Although it’s still niche with the sheer number of target audience, but these are high-value customers that everyone would love to cater to. Other than Razer and Xiaomi, we have rumors of Asus and Huawei preparing a gaming smartphone.
